iPhone 12 Series- No Chargers and Earpods in Box?
The event was not everything new and blitz. Apple announced that it will not be featuring any chargers and earpods in the phone boxes in order to reduce their carbon footprint. However, you will be able to buy them separately if you don’t have one.
The move seems to be good but the question also arises, what about the boxes of the separate chargers and earpods that people will buy?
Also, Apple won’t be shipping chargers with its older devices from now on, this includes iPhone SE 2020, iPhone XR and iPhone 11.
Also, Apple won’t be shipping chargers with its older devices from now on, this includes iPhone SE 2020, iPhone XR and iPhone 11.
Another thing that should be noted is that Apple will now be shipping the above-mentioned devices and iPhone 12 series devices with only a USB-C to Lightning Cable so that the users can use the cables to connect with their older adapters.
But, only the people with iPhone 11 Pro will have adapters with USB-C ports, other users will have to buy a new adapter with USB-C to use the provided cable, which will ironically result in the usage of more boxes and defeat the purpose of not giving chargers, to some extent.
iPhone 12 Series Devices Battery Specs
There was no mention of the battery life in Apple’s presentation, for any of the phones launched. However, there was info on the site regarding the battery life for all the iPhones as follows:
-

So, guys, these were all the things that were announced in Apple’s Event on 13 October. We saw the new iPhone 12 series with 4 new iPhones, the highest number of iPhones launched in an event ever. We saw the new smart speaker and some accessories along with it.
Personally, I find the iPhone 12 the most decent choice for a new Apple consumer, given its price in India. The Pro versions are priced way too higher for a new buyer and only those who want the best iPhones would go for the Pro ones.
So, which would you buy out of these? Or are you an Android guy and know of a better alternative than these? Like OnePlus 8T or Mi 10T?
